Master the art of contouring

The word "contouring" was barely part of the beauty dictionary , but today a quick Google search brings up over 75 million results.
How should we be contouring now? Putting to one side the countless tutorials demonstrating how to apply product across your face to create a brand new bone structure, what is the best way to make use of the wealth of new products on the market to subtly complement rather than to change your face?
1.The easiest and most flattering way to sculpt and shape the face is by adding light
You notice that when ever you start applying your highlight your face begins to fall in place, suddenly there is a little definition to your face,When you think of contouring you think of sharp cheeks and slimmed-down noses right  but the easiest and most flattering way to sculpt and shape the face is by adding light. In terms of adding depth, bronzers provide the perfect opportunity to create sunkissed skin that's sculpted at the same time.
Try dotting a cream formula across the bridge of the nose, around the edges of the face and into the cheekbones for a look that's natural but gently structured. Use your fingers or a sponge to prevent harsh lines, or choose a soft brush to disperse product evenly. Basically it's bronzing.
2. Foundation Application.
Cream foundations and colours close to your own natural skin tone are key in creating a natural look. If contouring is done right it should be your own little secret, not an indication that you spent hours in front of the mirror buffing and blending before leaving the house. Another way to ensure your face looks sculpted rather than stripy is to do your contouring before you apply your foundation, so it serves as a barely-visible base.
So how to contour now? Keep it simple, blend like there's no tomorrow  and remember that outside the world of the selfie, razor-sharp cheekbones can feel a little aggressive under the sun.  Instead keep your look simple and your application methods careful.
